Working Knowledge of Ethics and Legal Compliance: Students will demonstrate awareness of ethical and legal issues with a framework for resolving them. 2. Disciplinary Competence: Students will demonstrate competence in their respective disciplines. C omputer and information literacy skills for effective decision making. 3. Communication Skills: Students will communicate in an effective and professional manner through written and/or oral presentation assignments. Cultural and behavioral literacy skills for civil and effective communication. 4. Critical Thinking: Students will apply problem solving models to business situations. These objectives will be accomplished through lectures, reading materials and hands-on experience with a variety of resources and software tools. However, you will still need the books. Yes, you will need the books and the access code if you wish to earn and A in this course. Yes, you can purchase used copies of the book. However, that generally ends up costing more than purchasing the bundle and you may end up with used access codes you will have to return. You are welcome to compare pricing options, but do so in a manner that you do not run out of time before deadlines. Our campus Barnes and Noble bookstore also carries the bundle.
