How we will help our child to develop this quality 1. We will encourage our children to help us with small tasks when young, and express gratitude for their help. We will not pay our children money for helping or contributing to the home, but will be generous with our expressions of appreciation and point out how valuable their contributions really are to us. 2. We will work hard to avoid complaining about difficulties. When encounter challenges we will acknowledge that they are difficult (even in the presence of the children) and then go to work to address the challenges.
