I was a volunteer at a vacation bible school (VBS) in the Summer of 2009. Some things that I had to do while I was a volunteer included setting the tables for breakfast and lunch time, paper filing, and singing songs with the children. At least three tasks that I enjoyed were filing papers, laying out and picking up the toys for the kids, and singing songs with them. These tasks were enjoyable because I liked filing the papers in alphabetical order. I felt satisfaction about organizing the file cabinet. I had to use Sequence to accomplish that task. In addition to filing cabinets, laying out the toys and putting them away was enjoyable because I was able to spend time with the children. I had fun playing with them after I helped lay out the toys, and picking up the toys was only fun because I was able to enjoy playing with the children. I used Precision by putting each toy, coloring book, and markers in their respective boxes and cubbies. The last enjoyable part about volunteering at VBS was singing songs with the children. I liked it because we all made memories and sang songs about the Bible. One of my favorite songs was “Father Abraham”. I used Confluence to perform that task because we had to think about the next songs we wanted to sing on the spot.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
