Makayla: Makayla was ruled by Sequence. According to Chapter 3.3 Makayla can overcome her sequence by using Confluence. A few examples of how she can do that is by writing her essay in chunks. She can work on one paragraph at a time and later edit spelling and punctuation. She can also brainstorm by using a desk bell. Every time she thinks of a negative thought about herself, she could ding the bell to get out of that bad thinking habit. John: John’s pattern was high precision. Since he was in the army he needed to think quickly when he wrote back home. His high precision confused his family when he tried to tell them when to buy tickets. Instead of trying to explain the whole situation, he should consider his audience and write to them with Sequence. It would be easier for them to understand if he wrote something like, “Wait for the sergeant to buy the ticket. I’m not up to date on the info transit.” The quote is an example from the text 3.3.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
