Martin Luther King Jr. is widely recognized as one of the greatest modern leaders in American History. The influence that Martin Luther King Jr. cannot be overstated. The effects of his efforts are still extremely impactful upon our world today. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in Atlanta, Georgia under his parents Reverend Michael King and Alberta Williams. King’s grandfather, Reverend Adam Daniel Williams, was the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church from 1894 until 1931. Upon Reverend Williams passing, Reverend Michael King became the new pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
