EDA 509 Mod 3, Assignment 1 For this exercise I talked with my wife, she knows me as well as anyone. Having been together for 16 years she would be aware of all my “selves,” be that public, private, blind, or unknown. Without any prep, I asked her to take the inventory the same time I did. It was pretty neat to see that we both picked “A” for both scenarios for me. We talked about the first scenario and agreed that in my professional life I would respect the opinions of the teacher I would be working with. My wife and I are both teachers so we talk about our schools and teaching positions all the time. Neither one of us can stand being told what to do without being allowed to put in our two cents. She even said that when discussion this, “you would not like it if your principal just told you how to run your classroom.” We both believe that teachers are professionals and have invested a lot time and effort to get to where they are in their careers. Often state, district or building policies make us feel that we are not looked at as the professionals we know we are.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
