I. Vulnerability Assessments This accounting firm has a couple of major and minor vulnerable openings that could affect the firm’s network security and systems. No physical device in the firm should be connected wirelessly; for example the printers are computers should be using a LAN connection instead. In perfect concept, a wired system is harder to breach than a wireless system [1]. Using wireless could expose the domain and cause a rogue access point. A hacker will easily scan and find your wireless network because it is broadcasting without secure protocols. This is a major vulnerability in the firm a wired connection is more secure because it shields the network from outsiders and maintains the network secure within the building itself. Using personal devices and connecting them to the firm’s private network is another vulnerability. When users bring their private or personal devices to the building, these devices should connect to a guest network designed and created specifically for this need. The use of the
