I. Physical Network Design Introduction The main objective of our network design is to have the ability to map UMUC’s building network arquitecture. By doing this our network administrators will have the ability to create the most appropriate plan of action to tackle all of the building needs to provide unanimous quality service while accessing, sharing and sending data through the cloud and internal network. The overall goal is to help all active members of UMUC which are staff members, professors, and students make each day very productive during their time at UMUC. In order to achieve this goal the following components will be implemented in our strategic plan. A. Network Topology Business Needs UMUC’s number one goal is student education; therefore the University has decided to implement a network design infrastructure. This will allow students to have all the necessary tools to fulfill their education achievements. UMUC will implement a facility that cuts long term cost and increases productivity making the student’s registration process a lot easier to handle. This implementation will also facilitate students with access to the library and computer labs where they will be able to access the internet and complete assignments for their classes. In order to achieve the following goals, UMUC needs 6 computer labs 3 on each floor with 24 computers and 1 server for educational needs. The library will have 25 computers as well assigning 20 of them for the students and the other 5 for the library staff members of UMUC. The building also has 7 offices which will have 1 computer each, except the admissions office with 5 computers because it handles a high volume of students per day. Finally, the building has two server rooms one in each floor. The goal is to provide the same level of service to all clients, this includes UMUC staff and UMUC students. In order

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
