California Gold Rush Started from 1849 when gold was found by James Marshall in Sutter’s Mill. He was born on October 8, 1810- August 10, 1885. He reported that he found gold on the American River in California. The extradition of gold turned everyone’s attention away from the saw mills. The news brought 300,000 people from the rest of the united states and abroad. Including Chinese, Europeans, Japanese, etc. Being able to trade gold in for money was what really gained everyone's attention. Due to the financial gain by the California Gold Rush, a variety of immigrants rushed to California. 2

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
