John Snow uses different approaches to emphasize on the outbreak of cholera. Through the establishment of staunch evidences, reasoning and explanations that not only convinced people, John Snow accounted for the reasons behind the outbreak of cholera disease. According to John Snow, the fact that cholera was confirmed to be present in India long time ago is an enough evidence that it really existed. Medical researchers revealed that cholera was present in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Also, the spread of the disease from India to Syria, Japan, and East Africa was majorly through the waterways that were contaminated considered to contain Vibrio cholerae causative agent (Snow, p. 9). Snow realized that cholera is a digestive disease that may be introduced in the body through the oral consumption of food materials that are contaminated. Cholera according to John Snow resulted majorly in vomiting and diarrhea which is intestinal disorders threatening the condition of the body (Snow, p. 6). The evidence that a fatal cholera outbreak occurred that killed a multitude in the regions of Albinio as a result of consumption of contaminated water from the Southwark and Vauxhall Company defended his explanations.
