HR PLAN FOR JOHN’S BREWERIES LIMITED 2 HR Plan for John’s Breweries Limited Abstract. There is absolutely no doubt that the Human Resource Department is a critical part of the any organization. This is so because of the fact that an organization by definition is made up of human beings. Successful organizations around the world continue to grow in terms of profits and the number of customers they have, because they have the right people for the right job. For instance a company like MC Donald’s has perfected what it does worldwide because of the strong and able human resources team that it has. The human resources of the Company has a strategic plan covering recruitment and selection, training, compensation, legal issues related to employment, code of conduct, performance appraisal and so forth. It is important to note that, a HR plan should be cost-effective. Additionally the HR plan should support the other sectors of the organization which includes; the customers, the location, the products and services among others. This paper aims to develop a strategic HR plan for John’s Breweries Limited. A beer producing company in the breweries industry and which has a total of two hundred and ten employees that work as a team to ensure the success of the company. The staff incorporates both the senior staff and sub-ordinate staffs. The Company has a vision of becoming a formidable and first class beer producer in the world, while at the same time upholding both customer and employee satisfaction. The top management of John’s Breweries Ltd realizes that, it is an impossible mission to achieve their goals and objectives without a strategic and an all-inclusive HR plan. As we have already discussed above the Human Resources team is responsible for recruitment and staffing of

It is therefore worthy to do get it right the first time, right from recruitment the recruitment process all the way to termination of contract for whatever reason. A Strategic HR Plan for John’s Breweries Limited . Introduction and Overview . The purpose of this paper is to avail a practical guide to various departments when developing a strategic HR management plan of John’s Breweries Limited. This guide outlines; the recruitment and selection procedure, the compensation package for the people hired, the legal issues John’s Breweries Ltd should consider, a well-developed performance appraisal program and finally the decisions made in the creation of the HR plan. It is imperative to first of know what a HR plan is, before breaking it down into smaller components.
