1. Why do some executives refuse to function as project sponsors? For any business organization, it’s the executives responsibility for running organization. They are the one who creates plans for the organizations to grow. Executive management is referred as the top management team for the company. Project sponsor is referred as a person (Manager or a executive) who takes care of the accountability of the project. He is responsible for making the project delivered by time and defined cost. In my point of view, most of the business organizations are interested in making the job done at the lower price and lower resources than expected. It is the responsibility for the project sponsors for the project success or failure. However if the project goes into a failure stage it will effect the career of the employee who took the responsibility for the project. From my research, I have realized that most of the newly hired employees are refusing to be as a project sponsors as they are afraid of the project failures. Though they have an experience
