EMS 4302 Unit III Assessment Discuss why it is critical to share training programs and share employees to provide alternatives to jurisdictions that have limited resources. Jurisdictions that are limited in resources rely on other organizations for things such as training. Smaller organizations may not have a great deal of money in the budget to allocate to the training division. With the cooperation of other local agencies it is possible to take part of training that will further the organization. The goal for all public safety organizations should be the safety and wellbeing of its citizens. In order to have multiple agencies affiliated with one another there must be leadership, a vision that is mutual, effective communication and lastly, a willingness to work together. Sharing resources could improve the quality care for so many citizens. In addition, sharing will provide an opportunity for a trained expert to educate personnel. In many instances to agencies that would not normally be able to afford it. It is important to remember that face to face meetings to identify potential partners are crucial. Once a face to face meeting takes place a relationship is possible. Common interest could be identified between both parties at that time. Techniques, as well as, information sharing are only two benefits of a relationship. The ultimate goal for every agency should always be patient care. Providing quality care and up to date care are one of the many positive outcomes. When training programs are shared among agencies, interdisciplinary relationships are improved, and cost is shared among the group. Not to mention the ability for everyone to network and leaders to become clear.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
