Running head: ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE PLAN- PART 111Organizational Change Plan- Part 11HCS 587Organizational Change Plan- Part 11Monitoring Implementation of Electronic Medical Records:Monitoring EMR's Goal accomplishment evaluation is proposed to support providers andhealth information processing implementers with meaningful Practice. It is used to measure the degree to which (EMR) users adopt these EMR activities to verify if objectives have accomplished. Monitoring is essential to demonstrate, the way in which people tolerate the change. Electronic Medical Records facilitate to enhance medical practice administration by increasing performance competencies and cost savings. Possible benefits of using EMR include upgraded quality, protection, competence, as well as an augmented capability to accomplish education and research. To monitor the effectiveness of EMR introduction, first we should find the faults, and then decide if it is reasonable to adopt that change. The performance standard and the data collected with EMR adoption is more qualitative and subjective. Understanding of the opportunity of EMR execution permits the team to design, implement, and examine the effectiveness of EMR adoption. One of the methods used to monitor the success of EMR implementation is, creating a log for concerns or activate a contingency plan to find a solution.
ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE PLAN- PART 112Another approach used to track significant components associated with organizational change risks are the use of Surveys or questionnaires (Implementing and Monitoring Organizational Change: Part 3, 2013). An alternative method used to assess change is through (KPIs) Key Performance Indicators. KPIs follows to evaluate the efficiency of an organization to fulfill business objectives. For example, if the goal is to adopt Electronic charting in an organization, effectiveness can be measured by comparing the outcome of paper charting and EMR charting. These helps to gauge the productivity of approved change. The performance standard and the data collected with EMR adoption are more qualitativeand subjective. Evaluation and implementation toolkit (an achievement assessment tool AAT) areused to help and guide monitoring the effectiveness of EMR implementation from paper records. The process of the evaluation starts with determining the need for an EMR, to which product to purchase, to understand the commitment and challenges that come with implementing an EMR.
