World History ANCIENT GREECE PAGES PROJECT Introduction to the Student : Students will use resources such as websites and books to create a Pages Project exhibiting events in ancient Greece roughly from 800 B.C. to 146 B.C. Anticipated length of research and production of the Pages Project after class notes, lecture, and discussions have been concluded will be approximately 5 class periods. Students will then conduct oral presentations of their Pages Project to the class. Some projects will be printed and displayed throughout the room. All written articles will become a part of the students’ electronic portfolio. Assignment: Students will individually create a historical Pages Project which have these components: NEWS EVENT (report of information, including an interview of at least one observer or participant) EDITORIAL SECTION and LETTER TO THE EDITOR (showing different viewpoints on events) ENTERTAINMENT SECTION (a report of a musical or theatrical presentation or religious festival)
