Nicole McCann Mrs. Ruzicka Writing Workshop 15 Sept. 2017 FCA Strong Introduction: 10/ 10 FCA Relevant details: 20/ 20 FCA Literary Devices: 20/ 20 My name is Nicole, but I would not consider that to be who I am. I am a wild flower in the midst of roses. I am an apple surrounded by chocolate bars. I am sweet, southern sass with a northern shell. I am faithful, to myself and to others. I am a lover, but I am not afraid to fight. I am a free spirit. I am tender-hearted. I am giving. Most of all, I am lucky. I am lucky to have the life I have. I am lucky I have the resources and materials I need to live a life of fulfillment and happiness. I am lucky to have the parents I have, blessed by their militant background and astute advice. I am lucky to be living on three and a half acres of land, some of it wooded, some of it open. I am lucky to have Caliber, my sweet and spunky pup. I am lucky to have my sister and her small family, always providing a spot for me to just get away when things are not the best at home. I am lucky to know I am watched over by my God, who has paved a path for me, sending me in the right direction. I am lucky for the friends I have. Oh my gosh, did I strike the jackpot with them. My life is definitely not a walk in the park, but I always love a good mountain climb.

She gave birth to my sister at age twenty with John

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
