Gabriela Franco Karin Hatheway Dial Accounting 202-201 6 November 2015 Cell Phone Security Todays Generation now depends on cell phones for almost everything. We use it as our watch, our wallet, and our means of communication in almost any other way other than face-to- face communication. For those reasons is why we should take greater precaution on your phone security. Many people believe that having a simple passcode could solve the problem to any security issue they might have with their phone when lost. Having just a passcode is not an effective method of keeping your phone safe. One tip to take for cellphone security is using a longer passcode. Most phones have a 4- digit passcode; a safer security would be to use a passcode that has letter number and symbols. Most phones have this available through your phone settings. Another tip is turning off location services when not in use. When you have your location turned on it becomes easier for hackers to locate you and have access to your phone. Another security tip would be to abstain from
