Theresa Gorecki ANS 069 3-18-08 Question # 3 Since Cattle have such a short time that they are in estrus in comparison to horses, it makes a lot of sense to make sure that breeding stock’s ovulations are synchronized. In using synchronization techniques, Occurrence of estrus becomes more predictable, time is better spent, and multiple animals in estrus at the same time will increase frequency and duration of estrus. Synchronization can be controlled by using hormones so that humans are able to manage cows.
