In this paper we deal with the comparative study of fourth generation (4g) and the fifth generation (5g). As we know wireless technologies has been reached to 4 g wireless access technologies .5g networks focus on the development of user terminals . User terminals will have access to different wireless technologies and can join different flows from different terminal having different technologies. Our first generation technologies gave us a basic mobile voice features , and second generation has increases capacity and network coverage area..in third generation 3g speed up the bandwidth and give birth to broadband network. The fourth generation (4g) have given a wide progress in mobile services which are packed based , data rates, multiuser environment .fifth generation must be contain artificial intelligence concept that interconnects whole world .this paper provides a comparison between 4 g and 5g and its architecture. Keywords— WiMAX , LTE, 4G, 5G I. I NTRODUCTION Wireless Communication is very active area. The transformation of what has been supporting and other services leads development in areas of technology such as the data transmission, text, images, and videos. Thus, a wireless telecommunication demand started growing at a very high rate pace just as in 1990s demand for wire line capacity increased. The wireless network is a network which is not connected with cables which reduce cost of cables and provide easy connection between Buildings. Though Wireless avoid hindrance among connection between building but there was still problem like Low bandwidth, congestion, low connectivity speed. It was most difficult to connect whole world with wired network. Wireless Communication makes browsing internet easy. Increasing technologies in wireless like multimedia image , voice shifted whole country from fixed to mobile cellular telephony Optimization related services coming in to sharp focus. Many mobile phones are equipped with a WLAN adapter.
