Dana 11/15/16 AD Character Changes Over Time Kirsti is a stubborn, 5 year old little girl who craves big yellow cupcakes with pink frosting, and is not afraid to speak what’s on her mind. At the beginning of the story, Kirsti said what was on her mind to the soldiers, not even thinking of what consequences might happen. Kirsti doesn’t think before she says things because she is only 5 and hasn’t matured yet to know what is right or wrong. In chapter 4, Kirsti is still a silly little girl who comes home glowering with tear- stained cheeks, despising her new fish skin shoes. She refused to wear them because she says that “most mothers wouldn’t make their daughters wear ugly fish shoes.” It wasn’t until Ellen offered to make the black and shiny with her dad’s ink, did Kirsti finally agree to wear them. Basically, at the beginning of this story, Kirsti is a “typical” 5 year old girl who whines a lot, is really stubborn, and gets angry when she doesn’t get what she wants.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
