RUNNING HEAD: ASSIGNMENT 8 RESPONSES2ResponsesWhen making a development plan you should include several steps the first would be aself-assessment to identify strengths and weaknesses. The second would be evaluations they willallow you to look at an employee’s performance and if they are a good fit for the company. Thiswill include if they are doing well in the area they are in or may do better in another. Third wouldbe setting goals it is important so that employees can reach them and improve on skills they mayhave or work on areas that they may need improvement in. The fourth would be action planningthis will provide a time table to reach the goal that has been set. In my opinion, the mostimportant part of this process is going to be the goal setting.
