Class 15 Apocolyptic Writings Daniel 7-12 During this time, Belshazzar was king of Babylon. Daniel had a vision that he documented. Daniel saw four winds blowing on the ocean and four different beasts came up from the sea. The forth beast is put to death by the Lord and the remaining three lose their dominions. Daniel is frightened by these visions and asks one of the Lord’s angels to explain what is going on. The angel explains that the beasts represents four kings that will eventually fall from their thrones. The last beast represents the worst kingdom of all. It is going to wreck the entire earth. The last beast has ten horns that represents tem kings that will arise out of that empire. The little horn king is going to speak against the Lord and persecute the Jews. Later he will be judged by the Lord and his kingdom taken away. Rev 4-7, 12-14, 21-22 Jesus tells John to come into the door that opened into heaven and John sees the Lord on His throne.
