1) How would you define Buck's sexual orientation? What about his wife's? Defend your position. Buck was born a woman but feels like a man and takes testosterone to change his body into a man’s body. He defines himself as a man and he is attracted to women so he is straight. It doesn’t matter what he used to be because now Buck is a man. His wife is lesbian and really wanted to be with a dyke manly female and that’s exactly what Buck was for her. 2) Describe Buck's parents feelings/reaction to his transgenderism. How has it evolved since from his childhood to now? Identify specific emotions when possible. To what degree do you empathize with Buck's parents through this process? To what degree do you empathize with him? His parents already knew he was a lesbian growing up but they didn’t like it. They wanted their little girl to be normal and like boys. When he came out to them and stated that he felt more like a boy than a girl his father blamed himself for his daughter feeling like a son.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
