A Class Divided Analysis The film “A Class Divided” performed by the professor Jane Elliot was a very meaningful film. This film emphasizes others how it feels of being discriminated and promotes the society to stop discrimination. During this period of time, white people were the ones who promoted the most part of discrimination, and this film transmits them how others felt when they were discriminated. Throughout the entire film, the most meaningful scene that impacted me the most was when the professor separated the children by the color of their eyes, blue and brown; after lunch the children were concerned about how they were being treated that they even fight. The teacher asked “What’s wrong with being called brown eyes?” and instantly two classmates replied “It means that we’re stupid and well not that..” and Raymond immediately replied “Oh, that’s just the same way as other people call black people niggers.” These reactions made me realize how even third grade students knew what was discrimination and the film demonstrates
