ASSIGNMENT 2.3: END OF MODULE REVIEW 2 1. List and briefly describe Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck’s five dominant value-orientations. Then give an example of the relevance of each for an international aviation business. 1.Human nature orientation– this refers to the innate orientation of human nature. Is it generally good, bad, or a combination thereof? 2.Man-nature orientation– this refers to man’s relationship to nature. Is man dominant over, subjugated by, or in harmony with nature? 3.Time orientation – this refers to the role of time in man’s society. Is time primarily focused on past, present, or future? 4.Activity orientation – this refers to man’s valuation of human activity. Does society value accomplishments over personal traits or vice versa? 5.Relational orientation – this refers to man’s relationship with other men and the society atlarge. Does it value individualism over the community/groups or vice versa?
