Brandon Dumpit Communication 103 Speech of Introduction Outline September 13, 2017 General Purpose: To introduce myself to the class. Specific Purpose: To use a t-shirt and a map to tell the class about my future and aspirations. I. Introduction A. (Attention Gainer) “ Do what you want and explore the world,” Lawrence Dumpit (Dad) B. (Thesis Statement) My name is Brandon, and today I will introduce myself to you through two objects that represent me. C. (Preview Main Points) The first object is a Sports Medicine shirt, and the second is a map II. Body A. (Main Point # 1) This sports medicine shirt represents my interest for the profession and the inspiration for my future 1. (Sub-Point # 1) I have enjoyed assisting and helping athletes improve; however, my interest in this field increased in my senior year of high school when I shadowed a physical therapist. Shadowing taught me communication and empathy. 2. (Sub-Point # 2) Through Sports medicine, I have found interest in sports such as soccer and volleyball. This has led to my dream of becoming sports physical
