Scenario One A passenger aircraft uses a computerized system, which controls the lowering of retracting of the landing gear. The system is monitored and controlled by a safety critical computer system. If this system fails, then the landing gear may not be lowered properly, resulting in the aircrafts crew and passengers being in a potentially life threatening situation. The company that produces and tests the system uses a V model software development lifecycle. A pilot reported an issue when using this system which resulted in the aircraft having to make an emergency landing. When the system failed, the landing gear did not lower fully, and had to be retracted before being lowered again successfully. A modification is required to be implemented. Until this happens, all aircraft in the fleet have been grounded. Question 1 You have been asked to give your thoughts on the suitable test coverage. Which of the following is most appropriate prior to going into system testing, which will then be followed by acceptance testing? A. 100% requirements coverage. B. 100% regression coverage. C. 100% decision coverage. D. 100% statement coverage.
