NHM 201 Name: Adult Nutrition Case Study Total Point Value = 20 points This assignment consists of scenarios followed by short answer questions. The goal is for you to increase your knowledge of the concepts related to adult nutrition. Upon completion, save your work and upload your saved document into BlackBoard on the Case Study 5 link on the Assignments tab. Upload your saved work as either a Word document or an Adobe PDF file. Other files often will not open in BlackBoard and will not be graded, you will earn zero points for this part of the assignment. Read the case study and answer the questions. Rhonda and Billy are in their late forties. They have 2 boys, ages 11 and 14, who play baseball after school and on the weekends. Rhonda's parents live nearby and are in their early 70s. Her mother takes antihypertensive medication, and her father was recently diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Billy's father passed away last year (at age 74) after a heart attack. His mother (age 73) remains healthy except for occasional bouts of diverticulitis. His sister (age 52) was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. The older adults still live independently in their own homes. Billy is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a major advertising agency. He starts work at 7 a.m. He wakes up at 6 am, showers, and is out the door by 6:30 am. He typically has a cup of coffee and a sweet roll from the office vending machine at 8:00 a.m. Billy sometimes works through lunch, as he is short-staffed. When he does go out for lunch, he usually joins his colleagues and goes to Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger.
