3 The Road Not Taken , written by Robert Frost, is a poem that suddenly became a classic in the U.S. The poem tells the story of a traveler who decides which way to go. Out of many other interpretations in this poem, there is something clearer than others. Although Robert Frost’s poem The Road Not Taken may seem like a simple story to readers, this poem contains how important the choice is when people are walking through their lives. The theme of The Road Not Taken is making a choice. From the beginning, the theme of the choice is prominent throughout the poem. Actually, the poem itself is based on the subject of choice. In the poem, the traveler spends a lot of time in making decision of which way to go, because traveler knew that he or she cannot make it back after the decision is made.
