1. Our consumers will not be loyal due to the high substitution rate of biryani in the Klang Valley 2. Consumers would prefer a caterer providing multiple services and more variety. 1.0 Executive Summary 1.1 Problem/Opportunity Description The main problem that we faced as a customer was that there were no difference in the taste of biryanis catered or provided in restaurants. This is due to the same ingredients used to prepare biryanis, not forgetting the MSGs and preservatives in it. In addition, most restaurants in Klang Valley area do not serve tasty biryanis which results in customers failing to satisfy their cravings. Most of the Indian restaurants do not provide delivery services as well. 1.2 Solutions At Biryani Xpress, one can expect a healthy meal as we do not add any preservatives into our dishes. The secret for our home-cooked biryani has to be the freshly bought ingredients from the market every day. This way, it ensures the quality of food that we deliver to our customers. In addition, we use different spices and herbs that enable our customers to enjoy a mixture of every different flavours. Our signature dish, the red sorrel, gives a spicy yet sour kind of taste. This would be our strength as it gives our customers a whole new experience in eating our biryani. Biryani Xpress also provides delivery services to our dear customers for lunch and dinner. It will be delivered right in front of their doorstep. 1.3 Market Our target market is corporate workers and students in Klang Valley area. We are targeting the Klang Valley area as it has one of the largest population in Peninsula Malaysia. Therefore,

our target market is huge and a good place to start our business with. Plus, we are also targeting areas with education institutions such as SS15. This would be a great marketing strategy as students will be using the power of social media to talk about our product, indirectly promoting Biryani Xpress to the other users. We intend to approach our target market by distributing flyers and going all over the Internet to promote Biryani Xpress. Plus, we will also give out free samples to the public of the main cities in Klang Valley.
