Managing & Expressing Emotions & Moods Characteristics of Emotions Reactive o Emotions don’t just happen o Something prompts you to fell this way Finding partner in contact with ex Arousing o Emotions pump you up o You feel your body changing o Sympathetic nervous system Interpreted as “Emotion” o If I am all pumped up but don’t interpret it as anger, it is not considered an emotion o It is classified as a feeling o Italian men are aggressive with their emotions o Men vs. Women Who is more emotional?
