1.05 For this assessment I chose prompt one. In the historical document, “Ain’t I a Women?” In their time period, women’s were treated unfairly and so were black people. Men believed that women should have little rights because they couldn’t do as much as men could. Black women’s were treated even poorer because they were thought of slaves who should just do house work. Also men believed that women’s couldn’t have many rights because Christ wasn’t a woman, but Sojourner Truth said, “ Where did your Christ come from? Where did your Christ come from? From God and a woman! Man had nothing to do with Him.” This sentence proved that men’s idea that women couldn’t have equal rights were irrelevant. This document shows that in that time period there was racism and discrimination.        In the short story, “The story of an hour” It was about a sick women who believed her  husband had died. At first you would feel bad because she must feel terrible now that her
