MARKETING PLAN FOR TOYOTA MOTORS CORPORATION 2 1.0 Place Toyota automotive company is the largest vehicle manufacture in Japan. The Company normally conducts most of its operations in channels. It has a huge network, which it uses from the first step of manufacturing until the final product is delivered to the customer. The company has several brands; they differ in size, cost among many other factors, the supply differs depending on the location and demand. Due to such factors, the company has a fully developed network to ensure that it meets the demand with the right product. This article will focus on the common channels that the company uses to make sure that the consumer gets a quality product. 1.1 Systems used during manufacturing; Toyota manufacturing plants are spread into several states across the globe, the largest plant is Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky Inc. (TMMK). Statistics indicate that TMMK have an annual production capacity of 550000 and 600000 vehicles and engines respectively. The company adopted Just-In-Time system, which has been studied, accepted and continues to be improved, (TM-20F, 2009).
