2Carnival Corporation is the largest and most successful cruise lines in the world. Theircorporate offices are located in Miami, Florida with over 91,000 employees with offices allover the world. It all started in 1972 by Ted Arison who had a vision to create the greatestcruise line in the world. Carnival slowly started to grow and over time was awarded "TheWorld's Most Popular Cruise Line".(Carnival, 2006) On 1987 the management team decidedto take advantage to its well-known reputation and went public entering in the New YorkStock Exchange as CCL. Today Carnival has over 100 ships carrying more than 10 millionguests, representing approximately 50 percent of all global cruise passengers.Carnival's number one goal is for its passengers to have a memorable experience andto continue to travel on Carnival, like them mentioned: “Maintaining a constant focus onproviding higher quality vacations at tremendous value to our customers, while keeping aneye on the bottom line and earning superior returns for our shareholders”. Carnival wouldlike to offer its clients a One-stop shop for traveling. Now, they have eleven different Cruiselines around the world that can make that happen.
