LAB 2 2 The five basic types of non- misleading graphs are bar graphs, line graphs, line plot, pie chart, stem-and-leaf plot. Bar graphs use either horizontal or vertical bars of different heights or lengths to display the data. The bars are labeled to be able to show the comparison of data, also to help organize the data. The second type of graph used to display data is a line graph. Line graphs are used to show changes in data over a period. Line plots are used to plot data that is in written form and then allows you to find the mode and range of the data. The fourth type of graph is a pie chart. A pie chart compares the numbers in a set of data by showing the relative sizes of the parts that make up a whole. Each part of the circle represents part of the whole. The last basic type of non- misleading is a stem- and-leaf plot are organized from least to greatest. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
