Well so did the unnamed man in the short story “To Build a Fire” by: Jack London. He embarks his ten-mile journey in temperatures fifty degrees below zero in three foot of snow where he plans to meet his friends at six o’clock. You may begin to wonder where is it that is this cold? He is in Yukon near the border of current day Alaska. The cold does not even faze the man.
