The geographer thinks spatially . Geographers look at how the world changes over space . We look for patterns across space. The WHY of WHERE ! Thinking Like a Geographer Why are places and landscapes different? How do we organize space and define regions? In what ways do people interact with their environment? Do they adapt to or change the environment? How can humans intervene with their environment to prevent undesirable events? How do particular phenomena affect people’s lives and livelihoods? How and why do people, resources, and ideas move? Some Geographic Questions:
