MDSE 2650 Assignement 1: Innovative Textiles The article I chose to write on was about the year’s top 10 organizations and people with the most originality, and creativity in the enhancement of innovative textile fabric ideas. What I enjoyed most about the article, is that most of these new textile fabrics are environmentally friendly and/or useful, taking into consideration the least harmful and most resourceful ways to create these ground breaking textiles. Properties of care, safety, durability, and comfort all come into place in the creation of these innovative textile fabrics. The methods used to make these new textile fabrics range from recycled ocean plastic pollution, synthetic spider silk, to software automated fabrics. The creation of these new innovative textiles not only open up new fabrics as being a designer or buyer, but it makes way for all people who use these to have creations that are ergonomically and environmentally conscious.
