Connor Bresette Dr. Jamye Foster Study Abroad 06/25/17 Cutty Sark Museum During our time in Greenwich for one of the class visits, I was able to see a lot of different attractions in the area. One of these attractions included the famous Cutty Sark museum. The Cutty Sark was known as being the fastest ship to ever be built back in the 1800s and the museum was located through the ship, which is now an attraction in Greenwich. The museum began in the bowels of the ship were I learned the purposes of the ship, which was to transport tea from China to England, and how the cargo was stored aboard the ship. I then went up to the deck above and went through the living quarters where the crew, who worked on the ship during its use, lived. I can say that living on the ship was not the most comfortable and sea travel was extremely dangerous back in the 1800s. From there I went to the outside deck where I could experience the outside of the ship and the captains quarters at the end of the ship. The captain has his own rooms and dining room, but he shared
