ABSTRACT The objective of this experiment was to become familiar with and use a galvanometer to create a 1.5V voltmeter along with a 4A ammeter. Shunts and multipliers were used with the galvanometer to find the proper value of a resistance. Using the galvanometer as a voltmeter, the percent error was found to be 0.99%. Also, for the galvanometer as an ammeter, the percent error was found to be 2.68%. The maximum percent uncertainty was found to be 2.52%. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
