EEN360: Lab Report 1 BJT Amplifiers Frequency Respond 1 Objectives Understand the BJT functionality in a circuit Construct and simulate a BJT amplifier circuit Obtain frequency response of the constructed circuit Determine A mid , the mid-band gain of the BJT amplifier circuit Determine F L and F H , the lower and upper cutoff frequencies of the constructed circuit Plot the frequency response of the amplifier circuit 2 Experimental Setup and Equipment Used 1) National Instruments MultiSim: A simulation software package used to simulate electrical and electronics circuits. The majority of the setup is done at the beginning of the simulation and the rest of the lab session only needs the frequency of the input to be changed. The circuit is simply a BJT amplifier circuit. It is constructed around a 2N2222A Bipolar Junction Transistor. Connected to the base is a combination of 2 resistors R 1 = 75 k Ω and R 2 = 33 k Ω. The input is connected to R S = 1 k Ω resistor and a 0 . 1 μF capacitor. On the collector terminal, a Voltage of 15V is applied by the V CC

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
