Class Expectations for All Boca Raton High School Physics Students Instructor: Dr. Ronald C. Persin I-Goals : AP Physics C is a first year calculus based physics course which covers two semesters of college work. Enrollment in this course requires previous or concurrent enrollment in AP Calculus AB or BC. Students are expected to develop a fundamental understanding of physics concepts and differential and integral calculus simultaneously. The physics classroom provides the physical situations in which the basic understanding of physics and underlying fundamentals of differential and integral calculus are assimilated. Topics include Mechanics, for the first semester, and Electricity/Magnetism during the second semester. AP Physics B is a college level course that also covers two semesters of college work and uses advanced algebra and trigonometry as the primary tools for problem solving. Students must
