Parma Middle and High School Mrs. Jessica Haddox, Choral Director 137 Panther Way, Parma, ID 83660 Phone: (208)722-5115; Fax: (208)722-7153 E-mail: [email protected] Facebook: Parma Choirs  Dear Students, Parents, and Friends: Whether you are new, returning, or have been with us all year, I want to take this opportunity to  welcome you to the choral program.  In choir, students have the opportunity to work with the director  and with other students in a collaborative effort to create music. Shared goals, mutual support, respect,  and cooperation will help us to make this semester a success. This handbook was designed with the belief that communication is the key to achieving our musical  and organizational goals. It will provide you with important information about the choral program.  Inside you will find guidelines for performing groups, grading and lettering policies, contact  information, and much more. Please read this handbook carefully and share it with your parents or  guardians. The guidelines and rules which follow are designed to provide a quality experience for  everyone and are necessary in order to have a successful year.  Your support of these policies will  result in a more positive experience for all involved. Please search and “like” the Parma Choirs Facebook page and check my faculty page and the school  calendars at   for important information and dates of events. Many dates have  already been set for the semester, but some cannot be scheduled at this time. I will provide dates as  they are scheduled.  Please make plans as soon as concert and event dates are announced as  performances are mandatory. Notes will frequently be sent home in an effort to keep parents and  guardians informed about these important dates. If you have any questions or concerns, I am easiest to  reach through my school email. If you would prefer to speak to me on the phone or in person, please
