Due dates for both are determined by your instructor. Midterm Examinations: To be determined by your instructor. Final Examination: There will be a two-hour comprehensive final exam during final exam week Dec 11–16, 2017 . The time and place will be announced later. Grades: Course grades will be determined from the Total Score , calculated as follows Homework/Project/Quizzes 200 pts. 2 Midterm Exams at 100 pts. each 200 pts. Final Exam (comprehensive) 200 pts. Total Score 600 pts . Assignment of the grade: The scores will be uniformized across different sections by using the following procedure. 1. The number of particular letter grades (A, B, . . . ) in each section is based on the Final Exam score across all sections of the course by using a coursewide Final Exam curve.
