Subject: Assignment Title: Student Name: Student Number: Due Date: Date Submitted: Signature of Lecturer The article, ‘The Traits of Leaders Who Do Things Fast and Well’ by Zenger and Folkman (2016) draws emphasis on seven key factors that can enable and empower leaders to operate with speed and effectiveness. These factors have been identified through a research study that had been conducted within the article. All in all, the following essay begins with coining the term ‘Leadership’, and further goes on to place an emphasis on the Behavioral Theory of Leadership and its studies that are relevant to the article – Blake and Mountons’ behavioral study of the Leadership Grid, McGregor’s’ Theory Y of management and the Ohio State University and Michigan State University’s Leadership studies. The essay then shifts its entire attention back to the article by offering recommendations and discussing the drawbacks observed. Before turning on to develop as the most valuable organization of the world in 2011, Apple Inc. was merely a Garage start-up cofounded in 1976 by one of the greatest minds in the world. (Isaacson, 2012) The success story of this empire that changed not only lives but the future of technology as a whole could not have been successfully written and drafted without Steve Paul Jobs. His visions and personal drive to turn large scale dreams into reality are what made him the transformational leader that he lives on to be.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
