Department of Corporate Economy 2008/2009 academic year Diploma work For: ADAMOVÁ Marie Field: business management Topic: APPLICATION concept of social responsibility in a particular company Corporate Social Responsibility in a specific company Principles for the development Problem area: Corporate social responsibility is becoming increasingly important both in the world and in the Czech Republic. This trend we can watch in a socially conscious behaviors about which businesses seek and which spend part of their resources. Corporate social responsibility in the company may manifest in three areas: economic, environmental and social. The work focuses on the environmental pillar of social responsibility. The aim of the work: Analyze existing activities by the company in the environmental area of social responsibility deals, compare the obligations of business practice and to formulate recommendations for the management of the company. Workflow and used methods: Introduction 1. The theoretical part will be described and evaluated approaches to social responsibility and presents current trends, focusing on the environmental pillar of CSR. 2. In the practical part will analyze the concept of social responsibility in the field of environment in a particular company. Method used: semi-structured interviews, analysis of business documents on the matter. Based on theoretical assumptions and comparisons with other companies will be evaluated in the discussion ongoing activity in the given company and formulated recommendations for further development. Conclusion. Range of graphic works: (Assuming approximately 10 tables and graphs) Scope of work without attachments: 60-70 pages
