Then watch the John Stewart clip of the media’s treatment of candidate Ron Paul during the 2012 presidential election season. Discuss the relationship of the clip to the idea of media as a fourth estate with your partner. On your paper write at least two questions you have about the relationship of media to our political system. These should be questions that you hope will be answered during this exploration. 3. Watch “The Big Picture” and answer the following questions… Why have citizen journalists become more common? What is narrowcasting?
