Patrick Gavin English-111 Mrs. Garcia Synthesis paper (Rough draft) Anti-heroes in Pop-culture: Why are we attracted to Anti-heroes flims? Introduction Before our current generation arose, the type of movie you would watch with a group of friends generally tended to be the opposite of the more romantic ones in which would better correlate to watching with a significant other. After society became disinterested to the average action/hero movies & couples began to form a dull view towards basic romantic films, the movie industry introduced something new, characters know as anti-heroes. From there the rise of movies starring a main character obtaining these selfish yet diverse characteristics, quickly began to attract large amounts of attention. Early, yet classic anti-hero movies such as James Bond went viral, leading to the combination of other genres such as comedy & romance into anti-hero movies.
