Rosangeles Seni September 24, 2017 Christian World View 101 Dr. Peter Rasor Gospel Essentials Who is a Christian? A Christian is “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” As you continue to read my essay, I will be furthering my explanation and discussing four essential elements of the Christian Worldview: God, humanity, Jesus and the restoration. God is wisdom, love, faithfulness and righteous. “Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful.” (Psalms 116:5) “ And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.” (Genesis 1:3-5) And this shows how our Lord began to create the world that we live in today. fish in the ocean and the birds in the sky and on His final day of creation He created the animals and mankind, in His own image, male and female, He created them. On the seventh day, God saw that everything He had created was good, therefore He rested. Humanity “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26) Humanity’s purpose
