Which branch of government did Hamilton consider the least dangerous? Why? Judicial branch is the least dangerous branch of government because the judicial branch is controlled by the executive branch and can take no action concerning the welfare of others. Also, the most important powers are in the hands of the legislative branch. Hamilton says, “ the judiciary, from the nature of its functions, will always  be the least dangerous to the political rights of the Constitution…The judiciary, on the contrary, has no influence over either the sword or the purse; no direction  either of the strength or of the wealth of the society; and can take no active  resolution whatever.” 2. What are the conditions necessary to prevent the courts of justice from endangering the general liberties of the people?
